[Manifold-l] conversion of points to area objects

I think I see what you mean - I hadn't thought too hard about using the UI
as I've been looking for a programmatic method that could automate the
process. However, I guess I could do this using 8's UI scripting interface
which of course wasn't an option before.

Could I check one thing? When you say create buffers of the desired radius
what exactly do you mean - I'm familiar with creating buffers around
existing entities but in advance of creating new ones?
