Also, there seems to be mixed experiences with Vista but on the average it
would seem better to stay with XP at least until the first Vista SP is
released- early next year I think. I plan to upgrade my PC in the next few
months and will by staying with XP.

Hi All,

I am another silent but loyal follower of the list, and depend on it to keep
me updated on the latest developments and tips on Manifold. I do hope the
regulars continue to keep this list alive!

My ageing PC is beginning to show its age, and I need to consider buying a
new notebook. Any advice as to whether to continue using Windows XP Pro or
take the plunge and move on to Vista? If the latter, which edition: Home
Premium, Business or Ultimate? As to hardware configuration, I plan to plump
for the maximum 4GB RAM. Any advice or suggestions?
