[Manifold-l] Coordinate Weirdness

Hello Wizards:

         I have an ECW image and several drawings, all NAD83, UTM 10N.  The 
ECW was sent me georegistered and all drawings were referenced to it.  I 
have generated several export files (shp, dxf) from my drawings which the 
client cannot load properly (project).  I have discovered the following 
upon importing my own exports:
    * files imported with the XML file available import with the correct 
projection and datum.
    * files imported without the XML file and assigned NAD83/UTM "manually" 
are not projected correctly.
    * changing the projection to Lat/Lon has no effect.
    * the wrong coordinates are in the range of -500 to 16,000.
         I don't believe I've ever seen the likes of this and am hard 
pressed to guess what might be wonky.  I may have overlooked something 
simple.  This is the latest Manifold release.

         I've appended the XML file for reference for those who may be 
familiar with the content.

         Any thoughts would be appreciated . . . .
