Is this true? I bought a heap of 6.5 licences at the beginning of 2006, 
including 12 spares. It had been said in the list/forum by Manifold that 
users should buy extras in case they needed extras which wouldn't be 
available once new versions would be released.

Is it possible to get official word from Manifold as to whether old 
versions will not be able to be activated at some stage? As I posted at the 
time, I cannot upgrade as my packages are all on ships that have no 
Internet access & do not come into shore often enough to be able to be 
upgraded whenever new versions are released. I also do not want to have to 
support multiple versions.
