[Manifold-l] Problem changing projection from SPCS

We are working with Nevada East Zone, NAD27 feet as the main
projection of input data. This is I believe the first time we have
worked with a footric rather than metric system in Manifold, but it
is not the first time we have reprojected and previously there have
been no problems. A couple of problems have come up now:

1) When we reproject from SPCS to UTM (Zone 11, NAD27) we get garbage
coordinates. This has been the case in the last and also the current
upgrade on more than one machine. I have also tested it in a "clean"
project with only the component I want to reproject loaded.

2) Sometimes, I cannot isolate when, the Nevada East Zone (NAD27
feet) coordinate system selection opens with metres rather than US Survey Foot.

3) Something else I have not been able to isolate, and it has not
repeated with a "clean" project is that occasionally units would
unexpectedly change from feet to metres in an assigned
projection. That is, after processing some components, another
component seemed to have had the units of its projection changed.

Perhaps I'm missing something with the change projection or has
anyone else found problems in converting SPCS?
