[Manifold-l] distance problems converting to KML files

How exactly have you been measuring the distance in Manifold? If you were using the Tracker tool without the Ctrl button, Manifold was reporting a Euclidean distance. If you were using the Tracker tool with the Ctrl button, Manifold was reporting an ellipsoidal distance. The difference between Euclidean and ellipsoidal distances can be pretty large.

I am not sure what type of distance is being reported in Google Earth, but it might not coincide with whatever type you used in Manifold.
