It could be a technical problem with the list server.  But it is not
possible to say until David tells us exactly what he has done and what
happens.  Especially given that directionsmag.com generously provides the
list server for free it seems only right to get a precise description of
what is going on so that simple errors can be excluded.  Need to do that
anyway to narrow it down to a bona fide technical problem.
