[Manifold-l] Adobe Elements 5.0 & Map View

    FYI:  Adobe Photoshop Elements version 5.0, coming out at the end of the month, will have a "Map View".  (I must admit I sent Adobe a suggestion to do axactly what they appear to be doing plus a few other things but who knows how many others did too.)  Since I don't have a copy of the version 5.0, yet, I don't know how they implemented the "Map View".  We can only hope it is halfway intelligent.  It looks hopeful.  (I'm also agitating for Adobe Photoshop CS III to have a Map capability.)
    Now I hope Manifold can take advantage of the Adobe work and allow REAL home/commercial use of spatial databasing of photography.  
    The Adobe blurb on AMAZON reads: "
Photoshop Elements 5.0 also adds the Map view, so you can find photos by the locations where they were taken. Simply drag photos to any location in the new Map view, which is tied to online satellite views. Even upload your Map view to the web, for easy sharing with friends and family.
