[Manifold-l] call for interest - Australian users meeting

Folks,

The "we" in Mike's email refers to Mike Sumner and myself (Simon Greener).
We got together this morning at the University of Tasmania to discuss
the posting I made on to the discussion list and forum. Mike had some great
suggestions and we brain-stormed some ideas on what we thought users mike
like to see in the sessions. In effect, Mike and I are going to act as
the convenors of the forum/user meeting.

That does not mean we will be telling everyone what will be happening,
where and when,
but we feel that unless we start the ball rolling with some concrete
suggestions
and put these out for comment nothing much will happen.

So, to all those people who emailed me privately, great stuff: I have you
in my intray
so will contact you all directly when we have something concrete to report
on.

regards
S
