For the record, I installed the same beta version and do not have this
problem with TIFF files. I've tried with 8-bit panchromatic, 16-bit
panchromatic and 24-bit colour image, all are OK.

Windows XP Pro. SP2
1.5 GB RAM
1.7 GHz CPU
Mobility RADEON 9000
1280 x 1024 w/ 32-bit colour

Yes

I had this problem with images in the new Manifold 7.1.2.408.

I could not figure it out - it does not happen in the previous version.

Cheers
John

Has anyone experienced problems with tif files in 7.1.2.408?

I have existing maps with tif files which opened fine in 7.1.1.279. RGB
6000 x 4000 images have white spots as if pixels were missing. If I
zoom in from 1:7100 to 1:2100, the images look fine. If I zoom back,
even more white spots appear. Gray scale itf images appear to have large
red squares, and again look fine when zoomed to less than 1:2000.

I reinstalled 7.1.1.279 and everything is working fine again.

XP SP2
2 GB Ram
GeForce4 MX440 AGP 4X
1280 x 1024 res. w/ 32 bit color
