[Manifold-l] download problems

I confirm the download problems reported by IL Thomas.
I have attempted at least 5 downloads of  v7.x, and in each case the server says it has 
finished, but the downloaded file was never the size promised and in some cases less than 
half the proper size.
Having wasted far more than my download quota I have given up trying to download manifold 
- I think the Manifold server is misbehaving, possibly failing to monitor the ACK/NACK 
packets properly and failing to retransmit corrupted packets as required in the TCP/IP 
protocol.

There really is a problem, and it occurs almost only with the manifold site - not with 
other sites from which I regularly download large files successfully. Hence my suspicion 
that the setup of the manifold server is at least partially to blame.
