[Manifold-l] problem with Terrain: no 3D-view

sorry for the stupid question, but I can not figure out what I am doing wrong.

The landscape in the terrain window is entirely black. I can only see structures
if I choose "wireframe". And there are no changes if I am choosing another
palette or texture: It is only black... (except the sky, of course).  The 2D
view of the data is excellent.
