[Manifold-l] HELP ON PLAN OF ATTACK

If the easting and northings are in reference to a published projection it
should be pretty easy to import as X/Y data - just assign the proper
projection after import.
Ditto for the AutoCAD layers if X/Y is in reference to a projection your OK.
If the X/Y is in reference to control points... you've gone beyond my ken. I
could probably fake it but I don't think that's a good idea. (A point the
survey vs. GIS'er debates bring up a lot - its pretty easy for an
non-professional to produce substandard work. Best to make sure the contract
makes it clear the level of professionalism that is required for the end
product.)
AutoCAD may have a way to convert the X/Y of the CAD layers to lat/long in a
certain DATUM which you could easily import.
As far as the attributes go it may be easier to collect/enter the data into
a database/spreadsheet using a project defined primary key for each
points/line. Then join the results later with Manifold.
I'm sure others have better advice - stay tuned!
