[Manifold-l] SELECTIONS IN MAPS

Use layer restrictions if in a map window (temporarily turn off
selectability). Alternatively use the smart mouse select tools, not just the
default cursor for selecting, which you are possibly doing. That will honour
the object types (eg areas, points, lines) toggled on/off. Have a re-visit
of the selections doco, there's a lot to take on board!
