There's a "Simplify Geometry" command inside of GeoMedia Spatial Tools
6.0. This MIGHT work for what you need.

I've uploaded it to my box.net account. You can download it from here:
http://www.box.net/shared/fd2agx0x4e

Please download the file soon as I'll eventually remove the file.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Subject: [Geomedia-l] thinning linear elements in GM

I need to thin lines (road system) in a GM feature class and I can’t find
any way to do it. I have found a functional attribute to densify (add
vertices) but no command to remove unnecessary vertices.

 Has anyone a solution?

(P.s. the end and start nodes need to be unchanged.)

Thx in adv!
