[Geomedia-l] Geomedia to Google Earth

For those interested in PostGIS: since the last version of GeoMedia WFS data server, it's 'compatible' with GeoServer (opensource dataserver).

I've tested the following setup and it worked as expected. Not a really thorough test, only see if it works.

Postgis <-> Geoserver <-> WFS <-> GeoMedia WFS data server

(I remember you 've to be carefull with the mode you set in GeoServer). i can check it if someone is interested.

GeoServer is setup in a few minutes time and it comes with demo data.

(I filed a worksheet recently to support WFST to allow write operations.)

Note that the best way to convince Intergraph for specific needs is to file worksheets via your local Intergraph contacts (the GeoServer issue was filed this way, GeoServer specific, and solved in the next release).

Kris
