[Geomedia-l] GMP 6 and Microsoft Office 03

Hi Grahame,

Yes I have ran into problems.

If you import a table from Oracle contianing a field datatype NUMBER(11,0) (or more) into MSAccess2003 it will be converted to datatype DECIMAL.
and GMPro6 doesn´t recognize the datatype DECIMAL.

If you import a table from Oracle contianing a field datatype NUMBER(10,0) (or less) into MSAccess2003 it will be converted to datatype LONG INTEGER and this is the same as MsAccess 1997 so no problems.

GMPro can see the decimal values but when you want to make a join you´re in trouble.

I hope you´ll understand.
