I submitted such a CR through Intergraph New Zealand a few months ago.
I'd encourage others to do so too as per Roger's comments!
Cheers,

Jeff is right that there is currently no way to do this. It would be
very useful functionality that I'm interested in putting in the product.
Any CR's you could file would provide further justification.
Thanks,

Great question! In my opinion this has been run major drawback to the
new version. That's just painful. I liked the other method where the
path to the metadb was remembered. It was much easier when you need to
close and reopen the connection often.
Great CR in my opinion!
I'm going to file it when I get the chance.

I am using Webpub on a client to publish maps to a server running
Webmap. When I click on the "GM Webpublisher Admininstrator" icon in GM
Pro, I am presented with the "Open Application" form. Sinc my projects
are located on a remote server, I must click on the "Open remote
application" button and provide both the network folder and connection
string.
My question is: Is there anyway to store the network folder and
connection string locally so I do not need enter it everytime I want to
work on my Publisher project?
