AT&T Sues Verizon over "Map for That" Map Ads

The slogan for Apple's collection of apps for its iPhone is "There's an app for that." Ads highlight how there's an app for just about anything you might want to do with your device. In large part, those apps have driven iPhone sales. One of the downsides of the iPhone is the limited coverage area provided by its current U.S. carrier, AT&T. So, competitor Verizon began an ad campaign touting its extensive 3G coverage compared to AT&T's. And, now, AT&T is taking Verizon to task, specifically about the maps in the "There's a Map for That" campaign.
