Boston is not known as a sunny
place; nevertheless the City of
Boston has launched an initiative to increase
solar energy production and usage in the city. The website - which
uses ArcGIS Server - lets you look up various solar energy projects,
bring up pictures of the project, search areas for projects and
calculate rooftop solar potential. The image below shows three projects
in the Jamaica Plains/Roxbury area, with an image of a project at 3089
